Happy New Year and some new videos on instagram!

It's been a hectic one year for 2016 with a small one in hand :-) I am hoping as she grows I will get more time for crafting! Here is a small bunch of orange blossoms I managed to make in the rush! they are for a bride for a vintage wedding.

I have been trying to perfect my orange blossoms for a while and after tossing out many approaches
finally I have arrived with this one...in the process I am just enthralled at the design of the flower!
Orange blossoms are a well know addition for all vintage theme weddings after Queen Victoria adorned herself with it on her wedding day.

Orange blossoms are know to be a symbol of fruitfulness.I felt like I wanted a drink of cold blended orange juice after making this one!!

Orange Blossoms for a vintage themed wedding

The Orange blossom is the fragrant flower of the Citrus sinensis (orange tree). It is used in perfume making, has been written about as an aphrodisiac and is the state flower of Florida. It is traditionally associated with good fortune and has been popular in bridal bouquets and head wreaths for weddings. Orange blossom essence is an important component in the making of perfume.
