Top 8 DIY paper flower tutorials

Spring time is here and all the gardens here are looking so pretty.The flowers are in full bloom and the tulips this time are doing well.I do love gardening so its been wonderful to see all the perennials come up each year to bloom again.It's that time of the year to move all the houseplants out to feel the warm rays of the golden sun.I have been lately having allergies to cherry blossoms and so the paper flowers I have been making have been a fantastic option.The beautiful blooms in paper I see online are so gorgeous and so realistic nowadays and a huge plus is that they do not need to be watered! They stay pretty for months with a no effort at all and you have the personal satisfaction of a gardener minus a lot of effort!

DIY Christmas Front door Wreath

Its Christmas time again and over the years I have been changing the wreath on my door with simplechanges to create something new and here is my new one that you could whip up in a few secs,

Materials needed:

1.Flowers -poinsettia bunches - pick the heads off the stems I used a bunch of golden and red- use colors to suit the season you could use paper flowers of course.

3.Christmas ornaments leftovers from tree

4.Wreath ring from Michaels

5.Scissors

Snip or pull heads off from the pointsetta bunches,gather any leftover ornaments that you have leftover from the tree.

Snip a small pieces from the wire and wind onto the pointsetta stems wiring all the flowers. Wire the bauble ornaments too.

Lay wreath flat on floor and arrange the pointsetta onto the wreath base placing them alternatively and see how they look,use the wire and attach onto the wreath base,wind tightly! You have a lovely wreath!

Orange Blossoms for a vintage themed wedding

The Orange blossom is the fragrant flower of the Citrus sinensis (orange tree). It is used in perfume making, has been written about as an aphrodisiac and is the state flower of Florida. It is traditionally associated with good fortune and has been popular in bridal bouquets and head wreaths for weddings. Orange blossom essence is an important component in the making of perfume.

A Forget Me Not Memorial Rememberance

The Forget-Me-Not flower is a favorite wild flower of many; however, this small, blue flower has been a symbol of both love and hope, they are often ordered for a memorial or wedding as seeds packets

I had an order as it my client's father memorial function, (having been through one for my brother myself) as her father loved the forget me nots.

Along with it I created a tiny arrangement of gardenia's with some remaining forget me nots in a deep blue mini bottle for my etsy shop,with Mother's Day fast approaching you could order it for your Mom!
